In Turkey, the Slow Food Cook Alliance was established to align with this vision and took a significant step in creating a community that supports the country's unique culinary heritage. Founded on June 27, 2022, this alliance unites chefs from all over Turkey under the Slow Food philosophy. At the heart of this movement is the collaboration between chefs and local producers, bringing endangered local products into the spotlight and embracing a sustainable culinary mindset. Rare and protected agricultural products, such as those from Noah's Ark of Taste, grown in Turkey's rich lands, are rediscovered by these chefs and given the recognition they deserve in the world of gastronomy. 

Cook Alliance Turkey not only safeguards local flavors and traditional production methods but also passes this vision on to the next generation of chefs. Through training, events, and producer meetings, chefs are encouraged to foster a kitchen culture that is more sustainable, respectful of nature, and ethical. The chefs who join the alliance act responsibly and consciously, not only in their dishes but also in their kitchens, reducing food waste and becoming pioneers of social change.

Slow Food Cook Alliance chefs across Turkey form direct connections with local markets, respecting the origin of the ingredients, and viewing gastronomy as a social and environmental responsibility. These chefs do more than create delicious dishes; they take on the mission of preserving cultural heritage.
